Whas Radio jumped in bed with Senator Mitch McConnell when they started airing "The Savage Nation" in place of the Joe Elliott Show.
Whas Radio now airs Rush Limbaugh and "The Savage Nation"  and you can bet Senator Mitch McConnell will get air time on "The Savage Nation" and will be asked softball questions he would not have received on the Joe Elliott show.
Whas Radio has decided to air these two right wing hate mongers and I have decided to never listen to Whas Radio again, Sorry Francene.

Only occasionally do I listen to Lachlan McLean, and even then rarely.

It is indeed sad that the station is taking this route. Not only is Savage a " nut-job ", but he is already on his way "out".

Nothing like buying high and selling low.

This is the problem with corporate communication outlets. They must dumb-down to sell time. In every instance in which a broadcaster smarted-up it was either bankrupted or sold to other intrests. I'm a liberal elitest; I listen to NPR and watch PBS for news.
Let's face it ... media entertainment is pretty much satisfaction at the troubles of others.
Or shadenfreud as one of our bluegrass web-loggers likes to put it.
