Bush Twins Update: One Leaves, One Stays By Justin Rood - November 28, 2006, 9:05 AM ABC's now reporting that First Daughter Barbara Bush has left Argentina, while her sister Jenna will stay behind for ten days. The dynamic duo was recently asked to leave the country by the U.S. embassy, which had concerns for their safety, ABC reported. (The embassy has since denied this.) The two have been in Buenos Aires since last week for what what was planned to be a two-week trip in celebration of their 25th birthday. As one reader pointed out, the sisters apparently skipped the Bush Thanksgiving dinner in favor of drunken carousing in the antipodes. So much for family values? The Hillbilly

Sidarth, a senior at the University of Virginia, had been trailing Allen with a video camera to document his travels and speeches for the Webb campaign. During a campaign speech Friday in Breaks, Virginia, near the Kentucky border, Allen singled out Sidarth and called him a word that sounded like "Macaca." If spelled M-a-c-a-c-a, the term refers to a species of monkeys in the Eastern Hemisphere. "Is he saying Sidarth is a monkey?" [Webb spokesperson Kristian Denny] Todd asked. The word M-a-k-a-k-a refers to a town in South Africa. Todd accused Wadhams of "reaching" for an explanation for Allen’s comments. "The kid has a name. This is trying to demean him, to minimize him as a person," Todd said. Does this young man, S.R. Sidarth, look like he has a Mohawk hair cut? Wadhams said Allen campaign staffers had begun calling Sidarth "Mohawk"
because of a haircut Wadhams said the Webb staffer has. "’Macaca’ was
just a variation of that," Wadhams said.

Cincinnati Post By Stephenie Steitzer and
Kevin Eigelbach Post staff reporters An indictment on
three misdemeanor charges Thursday likely sealed Gov. Ernie Fletcher's fate as
a one-term governor, some political observers said.
Most agree that he probably won't come out on top no matter how he handles the
charges of illegally giving state jobs to political supporters - whether he
pardons himself, accepts a guilty plea or allows it to go trial. "I don't
see how he can turn it around," said Campbell County Republican Art Schmidt,
a former state senator and representative. "He's hurt. There's absolutely
no question." Read More
